The
history of using coatings in roofing has an interesting, if not
somewhat checkered, past — a burst of innovation battling against cheap
imitations and improper use by those unfamiliar with its appropriate
application.

from chaff, and the coating and sealants space is no different.
Similarly, just as its development and use have undergone refinements
over the last half-century, so have their manufacturers.
