A Wichita, Kan.-based roofing contractor has been ordered
to pay more than $15,000 after a customer alleged the company didn't refund them for a failed job.
According to a release from the Sedgwick County District Attorney's Office, Mid-Continent Roofing and Restoration LLC violated the Kansas Consumer Protection Act by "failing to provide a material benefit to the protected consumer" when it didn't issue a $13,205.65 refund after failing to replace the customer's roof.
