MINERAL WELLS, Texas — Just west of Fort Worth, Texas, construction of a 12,000-square-foot warehouse and office space is well underway to accommodate the expansion of a third-party logistics (3PL) operation.

Given the ongoing global supply chain issues, Next Generation Ingenuity (NGI) recognized the need to respond quickly to meet customer demands. Looking to expand on the valuable experience gained through partnering and providing 3PL services for S-5!, a global leader in the metal roof attachments, this expansion will allow customers seeking interim quantities to fill any gaps in their order fulfillment processes and provide opportunities for additional businesses to utilize NGI’s 3PL offerings. NGI will oversee the warehousing with order fulfillment, inventory management, packaging and delivery of products to a network of global distributors.

Located on 40 acres just south of Mineral Wells — home to the famous Baker Hotel and Spa currently under reconstruction the new climate-controlled facility features structure from Shulte Building Systems (SBS) and insulated metal panels from Greenspan — both members of the Metal Building Manufacturer’s Association (MBMA).

Mounted to the standing seam roof are 250 solar panels (94 kilowatts of power generation) secured in place with the S-5! PVKIT solar solution to offset the facility’s power usage. Construction is scheduled for completion by October. The PV system will provide 65(+)% of the building’s anticipated electric demand.

“Construction of the new NGI facility is an opportunity to respond to distributor and customer needs, avoid potential supply chain issues and bring a competitive advantage to customers by increasing our capacity to meet their demands,” said Lara Dunnam, president and founder of NGI.
