NCCER Releases Spanish Translations of Core, Roofing and Concrete Construction Curriculum
ALACHUA, Fla. — The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is excited to announce that three popular curricula are now available to students in Spanish. This includes Core Sixth Edition, Roofing Level 1 Second Edition and Concrete Construction Levels 1 and 2 Second Edition. While previous editions of Core curriculum have Spanish translations, this is the first time that Roofing and Concrete Construction are available in Spanish.
Our renewed Spanish translation efforts are part of NCCER's goal to help organizations train skilled craft professionals in an increasingly diverse workforce. Research indicates that 82.2% of roofers and 85.7% of concrete workers speak Spanish. Because many of these Spanish-speaking workers understand Latin American Spanish, NCCER uses Latin American Spanish for all Spanish translations.
