Vermont Roofing, Insulation Contractor Pays More Than $128K in Back Wages Following Investigation
MANCHESTER, N.H. — A Vermont-based insulation and roofing contractor has paid more than $160,000 in civil money penalties and
back wages following an investigation by the Department of Labor's Wage and Hour division.
According to the division, Dayco Inc. paid $163,492 to resolve violations of the H-2B guest worker visa program and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The company violated protections for seasonal workers employed under H-2B guest worker visas, as well as its year-round, non H-2B workers.
