ORLANDO, Fla. — As part of its research funded by a small business grant, X-MAT has developed what it calls a ground-breaking fireproof roof tile that exceeds industry standards.

The Phase 1 SBIR grant was awarded by the Dept. of Energy to X-MAT, which is the Advanced Materials division of Semplastics.
