FallTech has announced the release of its new Suspended Cable Anchor. When inserted through overhead openings in surfaces such as steel decking, concrete and grating, the anchor serves as a temporary reusable overhead attachment point for a wide variety of personal fall arrest and restraint systems. Capable of being used for single-user fall arrest or restraint, it is comprised of a high-strength cable attached to a load-bearing plate at one end and with a swivel anchor eye fitted to the attachment end. Built with ¼-inch, 7-by-19 wire rope connected to a low carbon steel anchor plate, the Suspended Cable Anchor is offered in lengths of 2, 6 and 8.5 feet to tackle varying workplace geometries.
