For the fifth consecutive year, ABC Supply Co. Inc. has been honored with the Gallup Great Workplace Award, which recognizes the best-performing workforces worldwide.
BELOIT, Wis. – For the fifth consecutive year, ABC Supply Co. Inc. has been honored with the Gallup Great Workplace Award, which recognizes the best-performing workforces worldwide. The company is one of only 29 in the world to receive the 2011 award. ABC Supply also is one of only four five-time winners, having received the award every year since its inception.
Familiar names among this year’s winners include Fifth Third Bank, Alexian Brothers Health System, PNC Financial Services Group and the iconic candy maker Mars Inc.
ABC Supply is the largest wholesale distributor of roofing in the United States and one of the nation’s largest distributors of siding, windows and other select exterior building products, the company said in a release.
“When Ken and Diane Hendricks founded ABC Supply, their vision was for ABC Supply to become the best company to work for in America,” said David Luck, chief executive officer and president.
To accomplish this, they grounded the company in a set of strong core values which included respect for individual potential and creating opportunities to succeed.

Companies considered for a Gallup Great Workplace Award were evaluated by a panel of workplace experts who compared each company’s results to results from other companies all over the world. The award is based on multiple criteria, including response rates, overall engagement levels and evidence of engagement’s impact on performance.
