Firestone Names New President
Tim Dunn has been named the new president of Firestone Building Products Co. LLC, in Indianapolis, and will succeed Ken Weaver, chairman, chief executive officer and president of Firestone Diversified Products LLC and current president of Firestone Building Products.

LLC, in Indianapolis, and will succeed Ken Weaver, chairman, chief executive officer and president of Firestone Diversified Products LLC and current president of Firestone Building Products. Dunn will assume his new position effective May 15.
Weaver has been promoted to chief financial officer for Bridgestone Americas Inc., the Nashville-based parent company of Firestone Diversified Products, effective May 15.
Dunn joined Bridgestone Americas in 1986. His first assignment was territory manager for the Consumer Replacement Tire group, and he held positions of increasing responsibility for the organization, including regional general manager, director of national marketing & supply chain management and executive director of consumer tire marketing. In addition, through his assignment as project manager for new business development–retail with Bridgestone Australia, Dunn has gained significant international experience. He returned to the U.S. last year when he was named president of Firestone Fibers & Textiles Co., Kings Mountain, N.C.
