Contractors and homeowners everywhere trust IKO for quality roofing products. With over 20 state-of-the-art plants across Canada, the United States and Europe, IKO is a global leader in the manufacture of bituminous roofing and waterproofing products. No one exports more asphalt shingles worldwide than IKO Industries.

For over 50 years, IKO has been “Setting the Standard” in the roofing industry. As a vertically integrated company, IKO is able to control the quality of its product from mining its own granules to producing its own felts and high-grade flux. Constant innovation in both products and installation techniques are at the root of the company’s success. IKO has pioneered several advances in the roofing industry, such as the introduction of metric-sized shingles and patented color-blending technology that mimics the subtle gradations of natural slate tiles and cedar shakes like never before.

IKO has recently achieved a new level of success with its line of Cambridge asphalt shingles - now available with a 30-year or Lifetime Limited Warranty. These fiberglass-laminated shingles are proving to be a favorite choice with homeowners and contractors. Cambridge 30 AR and Cambridge LT shingles are also available with the 10-year Algae Resistant Warranty. Ceramic-coated copper granules embedded in the outer shingle surface inhibit the growth of algae. This allows homeowners in humid or maritime climates to have a light-colored roof with no unsightly black streaks.

Cambridge asphalt shingles are among the heaviest in the industry. This weight provides an extraordinary dimensional thickness, to create a beautiful look and profile that few other shingles can match. Naturally blended shadow bands and a random shake appearance further enhance their curb appeal. Consisting of an extra-heavy fiberglass mat and tough modified sealant, their hefty, double-layer construction also provides superior protection, durability and weather-resistance.

Homeowners are not the only ones to benefit from IKO’s product innovations. Contractors can save installation time, thanks to the larger size of Cambridge shingles. Fewer shingles per square are required, representing a considerable cost savings. Also, a superior thermally activated modified shingle sealant provides superior strength and wind resistance.

At IKO, constant innovation and an unwavering commitment to quality and excellence are the cornerstones of our success - past, present and future. We pledge to continue, “Setting the Standard” in the roofing industry. You can build your reputation on ours. For more information, visit www.iko.com.
