LifePine Products LLC, Pageland, S.C., a division of C.M. Tucker Lumber Companies LLC, announced the availability of a new alternative treatment chemical Nature Wood ACQ (alkaline copper quaternary) in its roofing and siding products, which began in January 2004. It is an alternative to traditional CCA pressure-treated products. The products will retain their 50- and 30-year limited warranty and will continue to have the permanent pressure treatment process against rot, decay and termites. Brands include Ultra and Classic roofing and siding shakes, Royal roofing and siding shingles and Colonial siding shingles.
