Englert Inc., Perth Amboy, N.J., has announced the availability of Gutter Tunnel, a patented dual filtration system for gutters that provides contractors with a new offering for residential roofing and gutter customers. Made of heavy gauge aluminum debris filters, the new Gutter Tunnel provides double protection to residential gutters, deflecting leaves, pine needles and other debris from the top of the gutter and forming a tunnel in the bottom of the gutter allowing water to flow uninhibited. The new, patented system replaces gutter screens and other attachments that fail to prevent shredded leaves and other smaller debris from entering and settling in gutters. The product can be installed easily on existing conventional gutters without interfering with roof shingles and without installing clips that can rust or stain the face of gutters. It comes in easy-to-install, 3-foot-long sections.
