Roofing Alliance Highlights Year of Industry Investment
Annual report details progress in research, education and workforce development

The Roofing Alliance has released its 2025–26 Annual Report, highlighting a year of continued growth, strategic investment and measurable impact across research, education, workforce development, scholarships, industry recognition and philanthropy.
Under the leadership of Roofing Alliance President Greg Hudson and Vice President of Commercial Excellence at Duro-Last, the organization ended the year with 210 members whose support helped advance initiatives to strengthen the roofing industry and prepare it for the future.
The Roofing Alliance’s Center for Roofing Innovation and Leadership continued strengthening connections between the roofing industry and academia while developing the next generation of roofing-focused educators, researchers and professionals. During the year, the Center hosted its first Construction Bootcamp for high school students and continued advancing research, education and professional development initiatives.
A major milestone was completing the Roofing Alliance’s three-year Sustainability and Resiliency research project with Clemson University, which produced an extensive industry report examining key challenges, opportunities, and best practices. The research also helped support development of Roofing Sustainability and Resiliency, the fourth course in Clemson’s roofing curriculum, completing the four-course academic sequence supporting the nation’s first Minor in Roofing.
The Roofing Alliance also expanded its impact through scholarships, support of SkillsUSA, the Construction Management Student Competition and its longstanding partnership with Ronald McDonald House®, while continuing to invest in research, including a comprehensive safety study, addressing key industry challenges and opportunities.
“The accomplishments highlighted in this year’s annual report demonstrate what is possible when our members come together around a shared commitment to the future of roofing,” said Hudson. “Their investment allows us to support meaningful work that strengthens our industry, develops future leaders and creates lasting impact.”
