Roofing Pros Rally for 25,000 Push-Ups to Support Veterans This July
Roofing pros, industry partners, and their friends and families are teaming up for a month-long challenge benefiting H3 Adventures

The roofing industry is flexing for a cause this July. Through a community-driven challenge called "Push-Ups for Heroes," roofing professionals, industry partners, friends and families are working toward a shared goal of 25,000 push-ups in honor of America's 250th anniversary — all to raise funds for Healing Hometown Heroes (H3 Adventures).
H3 is a Florida nonprofit that provides free outdoor adventure therapy — guided kayaking, hiking, fishing, camping and peer support — to veterans, first responders and their families. The campaign pairs the push-up goal with individual sponsors, public donations and social media support to expand its impact.
Ten sponsored participants anchor the effort: Jacob Piazza of Nearmap, John Campbell and Tyler Allwood of Eagle Roofing Products, Matt Criswell of Weather Shield Roofing, Matt Lenord of Architectural Sheet Metal, Steven James of James Roofing Services Inc., Bo Copland of Hogtown Roofing and Construction, Brandon Cox of Owens Corning, Greg Bloom of QXO, and Brianna Stemple of Mission Metals MFG.
The campaign is also backed by an industry support team including Atlas Shingle Corporation, the FRSA and Florida Roofing Magazine, Mission Metals MFG, Roofers Coffee Shop and Roofing Contractor.
Organizers say everyone is welcome to join the fun. Supporters can follow along, contact the participants to donate, share encouragement, or contribute bonus push-ups from home — turning friendly competition and team accountability into a meaningful way for the industry to give back, get active and support heroes in their community.
