Talon Adapter Improves Low-Slope Roof Edge Safety
Clamp-on system enables adjustable guardrails, supports multiple configurations, and maintains edge protection during roof assembly and thickness changes.

The Talon is a patent-pending roof edge adapter designed to improve safety and simplify guardrail installation on low-slope roofing projects.
The system clamps to the outer edge of the roof structure, allowing guardrails to be installed without interfering with roofing work. It is designed for new construction where roof systems are installed before walls, a scenario that can complicate edge protection.
Talon is compatible with multiple guardrail configurations, including scaffold standards and pipe-style systems. It is engineered to provide strong attachment, achieving more than 700 pounds of resistance when installed on structural steel angles.
The system also includes adjustable threaded posts that allow guardrails to be raised up to 12 inches to accommodate changes in roof thickness during installation.
For wood blocking applications, the Talon Nest variant attaches to the face of the blocking, enabling additional roofing layers to be installed without removing and reinstalling guardrail components.
The product is intended to improve jobsite safety, maintain compliance, and reduce disruptions during roof installation.
