TopBuild Corp. has promoted Chief Operating Officer John Achille to president and chief operating officer, effective immediately.

In his expanded role, Achille will oversee day-to-day operations for the company’s installation services and specialty distribution businesses, along with supply chain functions and growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions. He will continue to report to CEO Robert Buck.

“John is a purpose-driven leader who has managed nearly all of our businesses and has delivered outstanding results,” Buck said in a statement.

Achille joined TopBuild in 2021 through its acquisition of American Building Systems, where he served as vice president of Coastal Insulation. He previously held leadership roles across several company divisions, including Distribution International, Service Partners and TruTeam.

“I am honored to be named president and COO of TopBuild,” Achille said, adding that the company is “well diversified” and positioned for long-term growth.

TopBuild is an installer and distributor of insulation and related building products serving the construction industry in the United States and Canada.
