CertainTeed Adds Dark Colors to Landmark Solaris Line
Landmark Solaris asphalt shingles combine solar-reflective performance, impact resistance, and expanded color offerings designed to meet cool roof requirements.

CertainTeed has expanded its Landmark Solaris asphalt shingle line with new dark color options, including Sand Dune, Moonstone, and Redwood Canyon. Designed for sunny climates, Landmark Solaris shingles incorporate solar-reflective Cool Roof Technology to reduce heat absorption compared with traditional shingles, helping improve energy efficiency.
The wood shake–inspired shingles feature a dual-layer construction for added depth, durability, and weather protection. They are UL 2218 Class 3 impact-resistant and tested to withstand wind speeds up to 110 mph. StreakFighter® algae resistance technology is included, where available, to help prevent discoloration over time.
Landmark Solaris shingles are rated by the Cool Roof Rating Council and can be used to meet 2022 California Title 24 Part 6 cool roof requirements, with select colors eligible for Los Angeles County Title 31 compliance. Installation features include self-sealing adhesive strips and NailTrak nailing guides. The shingles are backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
