Roof Rejuvenate Earns USDA BioPreferred Program Certification
The Colorbiotics asphalt shingle restoration product achieved USDA BioPreferred status with 95% biobased content and no added PFAS.

Roof Rejuvenate, a Colorbiotics solution designed to restore asphalt shingles, has been added to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s BioPreferred Program.
The corn oil-based formula was certified using 95% biobased content. The roof coating was also noted for being free of added PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. Such substances are often called “forever chemicals” because they do not break down naturally.
“Roof Rejuvenate is a benefit to our farmers, a credit to the incredible scientists we have at Colorbiotics and ultimately, a fantastic option for home and business owners to add years to the life of their roof with a single application,” said Kent Rotert, vice president of Colorbiotics.
Roof Rejuvenate USA has a network of applicators across North America. A map and contact information can be found here.
