McCoy’s Building Supply recently broke ground and began construction on a retail location in New Caney, Texas. Located at the northwest corner of Highway 242 and Big Rivers Road, the store will be McCoy’s 86th location.

“It's exciting to be part of a growing company expanding into more areas,” said Mike Cook, regional manager for McCoy’s Houston-area locations, in a news release. “I can't wait for New Caney and East Montgomery County to experience the personalized service McCoy’s is known for.”

The new McCoy’s store, designed by Studio 8 Architects, will offer a wide selection of high-quality building materials for a wide range of projects and home maintenance supplies, available in-store and online, with convenient ship-to-store and delivery options. Eckermann Engineering will be involved throughout the project, with Teal Construction serving as general contractor.

“We are incredibly excited about McCoy’s expansion into East Montgomery County for many reasons. It’s always nice to have a new brand that brings a new shopping experience,” said Frank McCrady, president and CEO East Montgomery County Improvement District. “The store will also provide job opportunities for local residents. We couldn’t be happier.”
