S-5!, the metal roof attachment solutions manufacturer, has earned the Metal Building Manufacturers Association’s Safety Award for exceptional workplace safety and zero recordable incidents at its Iowa Park, Texas, manufacturing facility. 

Each year, MBMA recognizes member companies that demonstrate exceptional commitment to workplace safety over the past calendar year. 

In a news release, S-5! said the 2025 award was presented during the MBMA Spring Association Meeting in Charlotte, N.C. Shawn Haddock, vice president of Operations at S-5!, accepted the honor on behalf of the entire S-5! team. 

“We are truly honored to receive this recognition from MBMA,” Haddock said. 

“It’s a testament to the diligence, care and commitment of our entire manufacturing team,” he continued. “I am especially grateful to Randy Crumpton, our safety manager, for ensuring a safe manufacturing environment.”

MBMA plays a leading role in promoting industry-wide safety standards and best practices. 

“Promoting workplace safety is one of MBMA’s most important objectives, and these awards celebrate those members who set the benchmark,” said Tony Bouquot, MBMA general manager. 

“S-5! is an active and engaged member of our association, and their achievement of a full year without a recordable incident is truly commendable,” Bouquot added.

S-5!’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is certified to ISO 9001:2015 quality assurance standards and features advanced automation and equipment. 

In recent years, the plant underwent a 20,000-plus-square-foot expansion to double its production capacity. This marks the fourth time S-5! has received the MBMA Safety Award.
