Central States, Inc., announced in a news release that its newest metal panel, Board & Batten, is now available to customers nationwide to meet demand for the popular siding product.

Central States, a leading U.S. manufacturer of metal building products and a 100% employee-owned company, introduced Board & Batten to select customers last year, the company said in a news release on Tuesday.

Effective immediately, the company’s metal siding product is available to customers nationwide in Central States’ full-service area.

Central States’ Board & Batten features a Galvalume base coated with a variety of finish options, including six of the most popular SMP paint colors in the market, six textured paint colors to create an organic appearance, and three high-quality digitally printed woodgrain options to meet any project aesthetic.

"We are thrilled to announce that Central States is now offering Board and Batten to all customers,” said Central States President Tim Ruger.

“This innovative product not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of any building but also provides superior durability and protection,” Ruger continued. “Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remains our top priorities as we bring new offerings to our customers across the nation.”

Versatility and Board & Batten

Central States said that Board & Batten siding is known for its “classic and timeless” appeal, making it a popular choice for various rustic and modern building styles.

The vertical design adds visual interest and depth, enhancing its overall aesthetic. Whether used for residential homes, commercial buildings or agricultural structures, Board & Batten provides a durable solution that stands out.

More Durability, Less Maintenance

Central States says Steel Board & Batten is a cost-effective siding solution with superior durability. It offers greater resilience to extreme weather, pests and rot than comparable wood or fiber cement systems.

Board & Batten from Central States is available in the company’s solid color options and boasts a limited lifetime warranty.

Innovative Possibilities with Direct Print

Board & Batten is the first Central States panel to feature direct print technology that creates a natural wood finish on steel siding. The process replicates the look of real wood, providing “the warmth and charm” of wood siding without the maintenance and susceptibility to weathering.

Expanded Footprint

With the footprint of Board & Batten siding now available at all manufacturing facilities and Metal Central locations, contractors and builders have easier access to the product.
