Kevin Stanton has joined low-slope roofing manufacturer MuleHide as territory manager for Louisiana, Arkansas and Missouri.

In a news release, MuleHide says Stanton is the company’s lead contact with contractors in the three states. His responsibilities include helping ensure that projects are completed efficiently and according to specification, working with contractors and ABC Supply Co. Inc. branch teams to develop solutions that meet property owners’ roofing needs, and providing ongoing product, technical and sales training for contractors and ABC Supply associates.

Stanton comes to MuleHide after more than 17 years with ABC Supply, where he served as an outside sales associate in the company’s branch on E. Washington Ave. in North Little Rock, Ark.

Before that, he was a sales associate with SPEC Building Materials Corporation in North Little Rock. He also owned and operated Stanton Construction, a small family construction firm that contracted with larger, established firms.

“Kevin has spent the last 20 years in the building materials distribution industry and, before that, was a successful contractor,” said Lane Reed, regional director for the Southwest, in a news release. “He has deep technical expertise and first-hand knowledge of what our contractors and distributors need from their manufacturer partners.

"He has also proven his ability to build strong relationships. We’re excited to have him put those experiences and skills to work serving our customers in the Southwest region.”

Stanton has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in business marketing from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Ark.
