Mule-Hide Products Co. announced last week it had launched a new warranty portal to help contractors manage all aspects of their Mule-Hide Products low-slope warranties, from completing applications to paying invoices.

Securely accessed at mulehide.com, the company said the portal offers a variety of features that significantly streamline processes designed to reduce the potential for errors in an August 13 news release. Features include:

• A dashboard that flags items requiring the contractor’s attention and includes a clickable list of all active projects, giving the contractor easy access to complete project details.
• Real-time email updates and project reminders.
• Complete digital project management — including applications, design reviews, photos, inspection reports, contractor signoffs on inspections, and contractor confirmations that required repairs have been made — to reduce delays and ensure the warranty process proceeds smoothly.
• An intuitive online application tool speeds up the design review process, eliminating guesswork and reducing errors. Based on project criteria entered by the contractor, the tool only allows the contractor to choose products that are allowed in the relevant Mule-Hide Products specifications. It ensures that all required products are included in the design.
• Online invoicing and payments.
• A complete archive of all warranted Mule-Hide Products jobs the contractor has completed.

“We always want to make it as easy as possible to work with Mule-Hide,” said Technical Services Manager David Phillip. 

“The warranty portal does just that [by setting] a new industry standard for user experience, dramatically streamlining and simplifying warranty management to … give contractors more time to focus on other areas of their businesses,” Phillip added.

Current warranty-eligible Mule-Hide Products contractors will automatically receive instructions on accessing and using the new portal. Contractors wanting more information about becoming warranty-eligible should contact their area's Mule-Hide Products territory manager.
