The Copper Development Association, a trade group representing the global copper industry, recently honored British Columbia, Canada-based Grist Slate & Tile Roofing Inc. for its outstanding work on Vancouver’s Heritage Hall envelope and seismic upgrade, placing it among the select winners of the Copper Development Association’s 2023 North American Copper in Architecture awards. 

Launched in 2008, NACIA awards recognize achievements in creativity, craftsmanship, and detail as expressed in copper building projects across the United States and Canada. 

Roofing Contractor magazine Editorial Director Rick Damato met Grist Slate principal Korby Grist during a recent overseas trip to Ireland and the United Kingdom. Grist expressed to Damato his gratitude to Chicago Metal Supply for its partnership on the project.
