A four-alarm fire broke out at a roofing business in San Jose, Calif, the morning of Dec. 4, lasting until the afternoon.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the large fire originated at the back corners of the property near a storage area. The area housed a variety of roofing materials, including metal, cement, adhesives and other types of materials. A black plume of smoke could be seen by onlookers, many of whom recorded the fire and posted it on social media.
