ATLANTA, Ga. - IMETCO (Innovative Metals Company Inc.), manufacturer of commercial metal roofing and building envelope products, announced that it is moving its corporate headquarters and primary manufacturing plant to its newly remodeled facility in Norcross, Ga.

The bulk of manufacturing was relocated to the new location in April 2011, and corporate office is expected to follow by the end of 4Q11.

Located at 4648 South Old Peachtree Road in Norcross, Ga., the state-of-the-art 80,000 square-foot facility sits in a centralized location with easy access to major metropolitan highways. The building is designed to improve manufacturing efficiency and capacity with four interior recessed truck-loading wells, 10 overhead 10-ton capacity bridge cranes, and an 8-acre lot with ample outdoor maneuvering and storage space. The increased capacity and capability accommodates current demand and anticipated growth, and allows IMETCO to create jobs by adding second and third shifts.

With additional manufacturing equipment acquired in the expansion, IMETCO is able to immediately expand the product line, accommodate more custom product manufacturing, and boost ongoing product improvement and development initiatives.

IMETCO, a manufacturer of high-quality metal products for the building envelope, goes beyond “off-the-shelf” commodity products to deliver performance-inspired systems that are tailored for each project.
