Stephen B. Powers, Executive Vice President of Powers Fasteners Inc., the nation’s leading marketer of concrete anchoring systems, died in a motorcycle accident on Oct. 5, 2008. He was 45.



Stephen B. Powers, Executive Vice President of Powers Fasteners Inc., the nation’s leading marketer of concrete anchoring systems, died in a motorcycle accident on Oct. 5, 2008. He was 45.

Mr. Powers, who ran the Brewster, N.Y.-based company with his three brothers, managed the firm’s Information Technology sector and was Business Manager for Powers Global oversees companies. He graduated with honors from Iona College, New Rochelle, N.Y. with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and lived in Greenwich, Conn.

His wife, Christina, and two daughters, Alexis, 16, and Sydney, 13, survive him.

Jeffrey R. Powers, who succeeded his father, Fred Booth Powers, Jr. as President in 1997, made the announcement. His brother Christopher is Chief Executive Officer and his brother Frederic III is Executive Vice President, Materials.
