S-5!, the original inventor of engineered metal roof attachments, has been named a 2025 Gold-Level Industry Advocate Award recipient by the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA). The award was presented during MBMA’s Annual Meeting and Awards Presentation, held Dec. 8–10 in Tucson, Ariz.
MBMA’s Industry Advocate Award recognizes companies that demonstrate exceptional service, consistent engagement and meaningful contributions that support the growth and success of the metal building systems industry. S-5! earned gold-level distinction for its continued commitment to advancing MBMA initiatives through active committee participation, industry advocacy, and involvement in educational and promotional efforts, as well as participation in MBMA’s safety program.
Rob Haddock, S-5! CEO and founder, accepted the award on behalf of the company alongside Shawn Haddock, vice president of Operations, and Mark Gies, director of strategy and market development.
“This recognition reflects the value of staying engaged and investing in the organizations that move our industry forward,” Haddock said. “MBMA provides essential resources—from programming and networking to scholarship and mentorship opportunities—that help professionals strengthen skills and expand knowledge. We’re honored to receive this award and proud to contribute to a community of industry leaders.”
This marks the seventh consecutive year S-5! has been recognized in MBMA’s annual awards program.
