ATAS Reaffirms Commitment to U.S. Manufacturing and Domestic Sourcing
Announcement follows blockage of most new tariffs while steel, aluminum tariffs remain in place

ATAS International, Inc., announced that it sources 100% of the aluminum and steel used in its metal panels from domestic suppliers. With all manufacturing operations conducted within the United States, the company reaffirms its commitment to supporting American industry and delivering American-made products.
The announcement follows on the heels of the U.S. Court of International Trade ruling to permanently block enforcement of President Donald Trump's "Liberation Day" tariffs, finding that only Congress may legislate broad‑based import duties. The ruling vacates nearly all of the IEEPA‑rooted tariffs Trump announced on April 2, including reciprocal measures and those justified with national security rationales.
Industry‑specific duties on steel and aluminum, put forward under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, remain in effect, which will continue to impact roofing-related products like panels, purlins, trusses and flashing.
Founded in 1963 with headquarters in Allentown, Pa., ATAS International has been a family-owned business for over 62 years. The company manufactures a wide range of metal roofing, wall cladding, ceiling systems, and many other building components that serve commercial, industrial, and residential construction markets across North America, and beyond.
“At ATAS, we take great pride in not only producing top-quality metal panels but also in strengthening the American supply chain,” said Dick Bus, president of ATAS International, Inc. “By sourcing all our aluminum and steel from domestic mills and manufacturing our products exclusively in the USA, we ensure superior quality control, shorter lead times, and support for American jobs.”
