SOPREMA U.S., manufacturer of roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope solutions, announced the latest enhancement to its mobile app — a new translation tool designed to make information more accessible to a diverse workforce.
The app, launched earlier this year, enables users to navigate the full SOPREMA website in a streamlined mobile experience, the company said in a news release.
Now, with the addition of the translation tool, users can translate product resources into 30 languages.
To highlight the advancement, SOPREMA has produced a brief video demonstrating how the translation feature enhances communication and accessibility for today’s multilingual workforce.

The new feature makes essential documents, including technical data sheets, product data sheets and safety data sheets, readily accessible for teams collaborating across language barriers.
Whether on the jobsite or in the office, users can access accurate, real-time translations that support understanding, safety, and productivity.
“With SOPREMA’s translating tool, we’re not just translating words—we’re unlocking potential and communicating within the industry,” said Tupac de la Cruz, SOPREMA customer and operations manager for Roofing Solutions.
“By breaking down language barriers and streamlining communication, we’re empowering every user with the knowledge they need to work smarter, safer, and more connected,” he added.
SOPREMA said the tool is a direct response to the needs of the company’s diverse customer base, which includes contractors, architects, distributors, and facility managers nationwide.
“Our goal is to make it easier for our customers to do business with us,” said Jen Grisez, director of Marketing. “This translation feature represents a big step forward in making sure that important product information is always available, always understandable, and always at your fingertips.”
The SOPREMA app, Sop’Direct, is now available for download on iOS and Android devices directly from your mobile device’s app store.
