NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Amrize has appointed Konrad Wernthaler as president of its Gaco and Enverge business units, the company announced June 17.

Wernthaler will oversee strategy, operations and commercial activities for the two brands, which serve commercial and residential markets in roofing, waterproofing, sealants, adhesives and insulation.

He brings more than 30 years of experience in the specialty chemicals and construction materials sectors. Most recently, Wernthaler served as CEO of Mallard Creek Polymers, where he led growth initiatives and product portfolio changes.

Jake Gosa, president of Amrize Building Envelope, said Wernthaler’s industry experience and leadership background will support the continued growth of both brands.

Gaco manufactures liquid-applied roofing, waterproofing and protective coating systems, as well as construction adhesives and sealants. Enverge produces spray foam insulation products. Both operate within Amrize’s Building Envelope business.
