CARLISLE, Pa. - Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) announced the acquisition of Insulfoam from privately held Premier Industries of Tacoma, Wash.

CARLISLE, Pa. - Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) announced the acquisition of Insulfoam from privately held Premier Industries of Tacoma, Wash. Insulfoam is a leading manufacturer of block-molded expanded polystyrene (EPS) products used primarily as insulation in the building and construction industry. With nearly 750 employees and 13 production and fabrication facilities across the United States, Insulfoam will operate as a stand-alone entity within CCM.

John Altmeyer, CCM’s president and CEO, said, “Insulfoam and its talented people will be an excellent addition to Carlisle Construction Materials. Carlisle and its divisions already participate strongly in energy saving building products. This will enhance Carlisle’s overall offerings for building owners, architects and contractors who want to promote and utilize energy-efficient construction products.”

Insulfoam will join six companies that currently make up CCM, including Carlisle SynTec, Versico, EcoStar, Hunter Panels, Carlisle Coatings & Waterproofing (CCW) and Hardcast.
