Watts Up: Moving On; How to Increase Profits

November 15, 2010
We have started a “Moving On” micro-site that will collect brief success stories from our readers. A recent Moving On feature is from Matt Spanton, and Matt will be our speaker at our next webinar at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 18.

We have started a “Moving On” micro-site (www.bnpmedia.com/movingon) that will collect brief success stories from our readers.

We are targeting small- and medium-size companies, such as contractors and other companies. While many of our markets are stuck in “slow growth” mode, we would like to help break the cycle and help more companies “Move On” by collecting and publishing the stories from readers like you who have overcome the obstacles facing the construction, housing, maintenance and financial markets.

A recent Moving On feature is from Matt Spanton, and Matt will be our speaker at our next webinar at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 18. In this session, Matt will detail how he implemented new technology to streamline his business processes and increase profits. He’ll teach you how to use technology including aerial measurement systems, automated estimating, construction management systems and customer resource systems to maximize personnel, lower overhead, boost profits and land more bids. He’ll also cover search engine optimization (SEO) on Google and provide tips on using social media marketing to reach new customers via Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

Additionally, attendees will learn how to:
  • Use web-based software to maximize the efficiency of team members and track production in real time.

  • Utilize aerial measurement systems to save time and money while freeing up salesmen to make more calls.

  • Take advantage of software to create fast, accurate estimates and professional proposals, keeping costs down and profit margin up.

  • Use social media including Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to target markets, educate consumers and enhance your brand.
Between our webinars and our new Moving On feature, Roofing Contractor is here to improve your company’s bottom line.
