Garland Introduces Contractor-Friendly Underlayment

The Garland Company Inc. has introduced a versatile, time-and-labor-saving water protection underlayment for use in commercial and residential applications. The new HPR Aqua Shield self-adhering underlayment is a lightweight, reinforced base sheet designed for a variety of high- and low-slope roofing applications. HPR Aqua Shield underlayment provides ice and water protection for a wide range of roofing systems including metal, shingle, tile, and slate roofs, and is ideal for lining parapets, coping, caps, valleys, eaves, ridges, rakes, and hips. Formulated using a high quality Styrene-Butadiene-Rubber (SBR) modified bitumen, HPR Aqua Shield underlayment is reinforced with high-strength fiberglass for exceptional dimensional stability. Its self-adhering technology uses an advanced adhesive surface that provides a secure bond, once its loosely attached, special release film is removed. The lightweight base sheet installs flat, without wrinkling or buckling, and provides a suitable walking surface for sloped applications. For more information, call 800
