Roof Insulation Overlayment

Georgia-Pacific Corp., Atlanta, offers Dens-Deck Prime™ roof insulation overlayment for adhered single-ply, as well as torched or cold-mastic modified-bitumen roofing systems. This product features the same proprietary fiberglass mat and enhanced gypsum core as Dens-Deck®, but has a face mat coated with a dark green, non-asphalt primer, which enhances product performance. The green primer provides a smooth surface that allows contractors to easily spread roofing adhesive over the face of the product. The even application of adhesive provides a superior bond to the roofing material, and the primer prevents adhesive absorption.
