Previously available only in the western United States, Elk Premium Building Products Inc., Dallas, opened distribution of Domain Winslow to the Midwest, Southwest and Northern states in July 2004. This super-heavyweight laminated shingle has a wood-shake appearance. The random-cut design creates a natural look and the wider exposure range of 5 5/8 inch to 11 1/4 inch gives visual depth and added dimension. The shingle boasts an innovative headlap made with Elk’s VersaShield technology. The interply, constructed with lightweight, durable non-asphaltic materials, makes each shingle course easier to handle than competing brands of similar size.
