LAS VEGAS - Roofing contractors will have the opportunity to attend free technology educational sessions on the show floor at the International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas. The sessions, presented by the roofing industry’s leading technology companies, will focus on new initiatives specific to the roofing industry that can help contractors increase profitability and efficiency.

Presentations run Wednesday, Feb. 16, from 11:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday, Feb. 17.  Friday, February 18 will feature product demonstrations from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Tech Know How Show was organized by EagleView Technologies, the leader in 3-D aerial roof measurement technology.  Chris Barrow, EagleView president, said “We recognized that roofing contractors are embracing technological tools but don’t always understand how to maximize the value that these tools can bring to their bottom line.”  Barrow reached out to other leaders in the technology field to join him in this non-traditional use of space on the trade show floor.  “Seven companies in addition to EagleView immediately saw the benefit of being able to provide education on the floor.”

The companies presenting at the Tech Know How Show include: EagleView Technologies, AccuLynx, Allied Building Products, AppliCad, Estimators on Call, HailWatch, Roofing Contractor Magazine and Roofing Contractor Marketing.  Twenty minute educational presentations are scheduled during show hours on Wednesday and Thursday, beginning at 11:15 a.m. each day.  Friday will feature product demonstrations.
