FORT WORTH, Texas – The North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA), a regional association for residential and commercial roofing contractors, distributors, manufacturers and associates who maintain the highest industry standards, announced its new board of directors and the winners of two prestigious awards honoring those who have made significant contributions to the local roofing industry.

During this year's NTRCA Gala and Awards Banquet, winners for the “Associate of the Year” and “Industry Leader” were recognized for their significant contributions to NTRCA, the local roofing industry and exceptional client service. Past winners meet annually to choose the latest honorees. 

This year's “Associate of the Year” is John Yonkin of ABC Supply.  The “Industry Leader” honor, the association's most prestigious recognition, was awarded to Ronnie McGlothlin of Empire Roofing.

Contractors who won 2010 Golden Hammer Awards were also recognized during the evening. “2010 Golden Hammer Award” winners for Community Service Projects were KPost Company for the Beautiful Feet Ministries and Bert Roofing, Inc., Pitts Roofing Company, Inc. and HEC Roofing Company for their work with the NFL Retired Players Association.

Commercial contractors winning the “2010 Golden Hammer Award” were Supreme Systems, Inc. for its work with Bureau of Engraving & Printing; Castro Roofing of Texas, LP for its work done on the Hall of State; and KPost Company for its project with Reunion Tower.

Residential contractors taking home “2010 Golden Hammer Awards” were Texas Tile Roofing for its work with Ultimate Green Friendly Roof and Pitts Roofing Company, Inc. for its Vogt re-roofing project.

NTRCA officers and board members for 2010 were also announced and approved during the NTRCA Gala and Awards Banquet.
