I was discussing one of my favorite topics — tools — with my friends at Roofing Contractor magazine, and they mentioned that tools are a topic contractors just can’t get enough of. I continue to see a lot of new and innovative tools as I head up the tool and accessory program for Allied Building Products, and I also talk often to a lot of contractors about what they like and don’t like about them. The folks at Roofing Contractor offered me the opportunity to share some of those insights on their website, and “The Contractor Tool Center” blog was born.

I’ll be reviewing innovative and new tools, plus talking about improved tools, used in the construction industry. I’ll be commenting on the trends we’re seeing and letting you know what’s hot and what’s not.
