Prepainted Metal
Follansbee Steel, Follansbee, W.V., introduces a prepainted roofing metal called KlassicKolors. Available in 22 designer colors, the product is prepainted with Valspar’s Floropon SR solar reflective paint coatings. The coatings will give the roof a dull, traditional appearance, often preferred over the more reflective surfaces common with other prepainted sheets. The base sheet of the new metal is Terne II, which is a prime steel sheet coated with Follansbee’s patented ZT Alloy, an alloy of zinc and tin. KlassicKolors can be formed with conventional roofing tools to accommodate all the design requirements of standing and batten seams, as well as vertical runs, barrel roofs and special sections.
