Habitat for Humanity today announced a new one-year roofing product and installation partnership with GAF Materials Corporation. This is Habitat’s first national partnership to provide construction labor as well as materials.

WAYNE, N.J. – Habitat for Humanity today announced a new one-year roofing product and installation partnership with GAF Materials Corporation. This is Habitat’s first national partnership to provide construction labor as well as materials.

Under this partnership, GAF Materials Corporation, the nation’s largest roofing and ventilation manufacturer, will provide roofing materials for GAF Master Elite® and Certified ™ Contractors donating roofing installation services in their communities. All installed roofs will carry GAF’s System Plus ltd. warranty.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity to show our support for local community efforts through this partnership with Habitat for Humanity,” said Paul Bromfield, senior vice president of marketing at GAF. “It is an added benefit that through this arrangement we are also able to support our dedicated contractors who are local leaders in installation and share our interest in contributing to their communities.”

More than four thousand GAF Master Elite® and Certified™ Contractors are eligible to participate in the partnership.

“This gift of construction materials will help Habitat affiliates across the country create affordable housing for their communities,” said Mark Crozet, senior vice president of resource development for Habitat for Humanity International. “It is immeasurably beneficial to have GAF contractors providing installation expertise as well. This is an exciting new partnership for our organization, and we greatly appreciate the support GAF Materials Corporation is providing.”
