Emco Ltd. has entered an alliance with Atlas Roofing Corp.
Emco Ltd., London, Ontario, announced that its Building Products division has entered an alliance with Atlas Roofing Corp., Meridian, Miss., with the primary purpose of developing and producing non-laminate overlay architectural shingles for sale by both parties.
Emco Ltd., London, Ontario, announced that its Building Products division has entered an alliance with Atlas Roofing Corp., Meridian, Miss., with the primary purpose of developing and producing non-laminate overlay architectural shingles for sale by both parties.
Through this new alliance, Emco is investing in the modification of a roofing machine at Atlas' manufacturing facility in Quakertown, Pa., that will use sophisticated technology to produce overlay (multi-layer) shingles and other high-quality roof products. Emco's Building Products division will be entitled to a percentage of production capacity at the facility and will coordinate its engineering, design and raw material expertise with Atlas' expertise in these areas.
