After graduating from UCLA and then Pepperdine School of Law, Kayhan joined the national law firm Wickwire Gavin LLP in 1993. Over his 13 years with the firm, Kayhan rose from associate to managing partner of the Los Angeles office.
In 2006, he decided to switch to the “business side” and left the day-to-day practice of law and joined BEST Contracting Services, Inc., a large specialty contractor specializing in the building envelope, namely, roofing, waterproofing, metal panels, general sheet metal and glazing. Almost 20 years later, he remains with BEST as EVP and is a part of the company’s executive team with a key voice in guiding the company.
