Jesse Torres began his career out of UCLA as a Bank Examiner for the U.S. Treasury’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where he evaluated the safety and soundness of federally chartered banks across the country. After years as a regulator, he joined KPMG Peat Marwick as a banking consultant, advising institutions facing regulatory and operational challenges. He later transitioned into commercial banking, holding leadership roles in both community and large regional banks throughout California.
During the pandemic, Jesse brought his decades of financial, regulatory, and risk management experience to Best Contracting Services, where he now serves as Chief Administrative Officer. In this role, he applies his extensive banking background to strengthen financial integrity, internal controls, and operational resilience within a complex, multi-division construction enterprise. With a unique perspective that bridges finance, compliance, and construction, Jesse helps the organization identify vulnerabilities and implement systems that strengthen the company's risk management systems.
