Doug Duncan is currently the President at Nations Roof in Villa Park IL. He was born into the roofing industry, as his dad owned a commercial roofing company in Lyons IL. Growing up he started cleaning up the warehouse and later working with a crew on jobsites. He worked alongside his two brothers and uncles. Years later, he owned a residential shingle and siding company. In 2005 an opportunity came to him, and he was hired as Operations Manager at Nations Roof. He has been at Nations Roof for 18 years. He has been in many roles over the years, Installer, foreman, Operations Manager to Project Manager to Estimator and currently the President at Nations Roof of IL.

Doug’s motivation each day he goes to work is to see his family and the people at Nations Roof grow and succeed. He feels so proud when an employee shows him a new car or a new house they bought. He gets the feeling that he had a small part in that. Not only does he get to see his own family grow, He gets to see lots of family grow and succeed because of our industry. His hobbies include kids’ sports, traveling, scuba diving, and spear fishing,

He is a graduate of NRCA Future Executive institute (FEI 6) Graduated NRCA EMI Executive Management Institute (EMI 3) and hee is currently the NRCA Chairman of the Board Elect. His term as Chairman will start in 2024. Throughout his time in the NRCA he has served on many committees, 2 terms on the board of directors and 1 term on the executive board. In 2016 and 2017 he attended Georgia tech and completed OSHA 500 and 510 courses. .
