Doug Cooper is the CEO and co-owner of Advocate Construction, one of the fastest-growing roofing companies in the U.S. Since co-founding the company in 2012, Doug has led Advocate from a local storm restoration contractor into a top-30 roofing firm nationwide, with offices across twelve markets in nine states. Drawing on early career lessons in customer service, sales, and team leadership, he has built a people-driven organization rooted in training, empowerment, and integrity.
Beyond his role at Advocate, Doug is a founding member of the Exterior Contractors Alliance, collaborating with leading contractors across the country to elevate industry standards. He is passionate about creating growth opportunities for his team and shaping a culture where customer experience and employee development go hand in hand.
On a personal note, Doug credits his wife, Lindsey, as his greatest supporter. Together, they are raising four children in the Chicagoland area and enjoying the adventure of balancing family life with building a thriving business.
