Christian Madsen is the second-generation owner of Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing, Inc., located in Sacramento, California. Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing is a commercial roofing contractor licensed in California and Nevada. The company also holds general contractor, sheet metal, and asbestos abatement licenses. Madsen focuses on providing high quality roofing solutions for its customers, with a particular emphasis on difficult and unique projects which require the personalized attention to detail that can only be provided when upper management is involved in all facets of a project.

Christian serves on the Board of Directors of the National Roofing Contractors Association and the Roofing Contractors Association of California. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Western States Roofing Contractors Association. During his time on the WSRCA Board, Christian served on the Executive Committee, as Senior Vice President, and as President. He also served as the president of the RCAC.

Christian was raised in Southern California, where he began his roofing career at 13. He moved to Sacramento in 1987 to join Madsen Roofing & Waterproofing and has remained with the company since its formation. Christian has worked in the field as an apprentice, a journeyman roofer, a foreman, and the construction superintendent. He then transitioned to estimating, project management, and executive leadership roles. Christian is now the company's sole shareholder, president, and chief executive officer.

Christian lives in Loomis, California with his wife Michelle, the chief financial officer and a shareholder of a Sacramento-based general engineering contractor. Christian's two adult sons have joined the company, continuing the family tradition with the third generation.
