Power Home Remodeling Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Employee-led Initiative in Charlotte
CHESTER, Pa. — Power Home Remodeling, one of the nation's leading exterior home remodelers and nationally-recognized top workplaces, hosted its new annual Hispanic Heritage Month Initiative with a three-day celebration Oct. 13-16 in Charlotte, N.C. The weekend event provided an opportunity for employees to celebrate the richness and diversity of Hispanic culture and give back to the city's community.
Spearheaded by the company's Latinx employee resource group, Mi Gente, the Hispanic Heritage Month event was a gathering of Latinx Power employees, allies, and leadership from across the country to engage in meaningful activities. The weekend's events included team outings to Latinx-owned restaurants, a volunteer project, and participation in the Hola Charlotte Festival — the largest Hispanic heritage celebration in the city, highlighting Latin American culture.
