To close out this year’s Best of Success conference, Joshua Barnett presented attendees with the latest on a topic of growing interest among many roofing contractors — drones. Barnett, president and co-founder of Drone Dispatch, is an expert in the commercial drone space and seeks to help roofing contractors integrate this technology into their businesses. He kicked off his presentation with four things that drones can do for roofing contractors: save time, save money, reduce risk and provide utility. He explained that after every drone mission, the company provides customers with photos and videos of the property which can subsequently be used for marketing and other purposes. Drones also have low maintenance costs, provide faster inspections and they eliminate the liability of workers on the ground.
