Atlas Copco’s new XAS 185 portable compressor is designed to give contractors a reliable source of compressed air for a variety of jobs. It’s compact, efficient and economical, and it has a 49-horsepower Kubota diesel engine that complies with Tier 4 Final emission standards. The compressor features a fully automatic regulator that constantly varies the engine speed according to air demand, minimizing fuel consumption. The 20-gallon fuel tank allows contractors to use the portable compressor for a full eight-hour shift without needing to refuel. The compressor also features Atlas Copco’s HardHat™ canopy, which made from highly durable, weather-resistant polyethylene. The canopy not only effectively protects the compressor’s components but also resists impacts and will not corrode. For more information, visit www.atlascopco.us.
